Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary is located in the taluka of Jasdan in the district of Rajkot. The sanctuary is approximately 654 square kilometers in length.

About Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary
In 1980, Hingolgadh was identified as a sanctuary. The Hingolgadh Nature Education Sanctuary is managed by the Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) Foundation in Gandhinagar.
The tropical grassland ecosystem is home to a wide variety of animals and reptiles.
It is home to a variety of reptiles and animals, including the endangered Chinkara, wolf, blue bull, hyena, porcupine, flying foxes, and birds such as the spotted dove, bulbul, and woodpecker.
It is home to 155 plant species from 66 families, 229 bird species, 21 mammal species, 33 reptile species, and eight amphibian species.

Flora and Fauna At Hingolgadh Education Sanctuary
Flora: The sanctuary is rich in dry deciduous forests and contains a variety of tree and plant species. Acacia Senegal (gorad), Mytenus emarginata (vikalo), Acacia nilotica (baval), Commiphora wightii (Gugal), and other common trees can be found here. The sanctuary is covered with forests with various grasses and scrubs. During the rainy season, the area comes alive with life and everything would seem to be greenish.
Fauna: The sanctuary is home to a variety of animal species, including nilgai, chinkara, Indian hare, wolf, mongoose, Indian porcupine, jackals, and hyenas. The sanctuary also supports approximately 230 species, including bulbul, weaver bird, and many others.
