Ram Van is a park that the Rajkot Municipal Corporation created in a 47-acre area. The Ram Van is built in Rajkot’s urban forest.

About Ram Van Rajkot

The Gujarat Chief Minister inaugurated the Ram Van on August 17, 2022.Ram Van is a summary of all the incidents in Lord Rama’s life outside of his 14-year banishment. This area also has up to 22 distinct statues depicting incidents from Lord Rama’s life.

The sources state that the Municipal Corporation began building Ram Vans in select areas of Rajkot in 2019, and the Chief Minister officially opened the project, which is expected to be finished by 2022. The Corporation spent Mun. 14 crores getting ready for the Ram Van.

The city authority has planted 80,000 saplings of 80 different types, per a letter from the RMC. Two tiny lakes, an adventure bridge, a Ram Setu bridge, a children’s play area, a 3,000-square-meter grass, an amphitheater, 25 creative benches, and eight gazebos are all part of the project.
