Ram Van is a park that the Rajkot Municipal Corporation created in a 47-acre area. The Ram Van is built in Rajkot’s urban forest.

About Ram Van Rajkot

Ram van was inaugurated by Gujarat CM on 17th August 2022. Ram Van provides an overview of various events associated with the life of Lord Rama besides the 14 years of exile. As many as 22 different sculptures of events based on the life of Lord Rama have also been placed here.

According to the sources, the construction of Ram Van in parts of Rajkot was started by the Municipal Corporation in the year 2019 and the work was inaugurated by the Chief Minister to be completed by 2022. Mun. 14 crores have been incurred by the Corporation in preparing Ram Van.

According to a note from the RMC, the civic body has planted 80,000 saplings of 80 different species. The project includes two small lakes, a Ram Setu bridge, an adventure bridge, a children’s play area, a 3,000-square-metre lawn, an amphitheater, 25 artistic benches, and eight gazebos.
