The Uttar Pradesh government allocated Rs 2,500 crore for Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 preparations in its budget. The Yogi government is putting in place new steps to make the forthcoming Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, more holy and spectacular. One of these measures includes constructing the Ganga Path along the banks of the Ganges, costing ₹95 crore. This new pathway will assist relieve traffic congestion, benefiting over 41 crore tourists and devotees attending the celebration.
