Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the pedestrian-only ‘Atal Bridge’ on the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The PM will dedicate the footbridge named after former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, which was built by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

Riverfront Bridge is an iconic bridge, with an eye-catching design and LED lighting, is nearly 300 meters long and 14 meters wide in the middle, connecting the flower garden on the riverfront’s western end to the upcoming arts and culture center on the eastern end. This bridge was built with approximately 2,100 Metric Tons of metal. This bridge’s total construction cost is Rs 74.29 lakh crore.
