Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav’s opening celebration on December 14, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. in Ahmedabad.

About Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav

The event will take place from December 15 to January 15, involving around 80,000 volunteers, hundreds of swamis, and a 600-acre site, named ‘Pramukh Swami Nagar’.

The event will celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of one of India’s most famous saints, a member of the prestigious Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha. In 2022, hundreds of devotees are planning to attend the BAPS 100th anniversary celebration.

The event took place at Ahmedabad’s BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, a magnificent and elaborate constructed Hindu temple built in the classic Indian style. The mandir is a famous tourist attraction as well as a site of meditation for Swaminarayan devotees.

According to estimations, the festival will gather at least one lakh visitors over the duration of a month and between 2 and 3 lakh on weekends and public holidays. Therefore, it is probable that this festival will gather more than one crore of visitors in one month.

They have been involved in planning, administration, and implementation at the Pramukh Swami Nagar for the past six months to a year.

About Pramukh Swami Nagar Ahmedabad

In the middle of the location of the cultural darshan celebration, in five giant domes, is a 30 feet tall, golden statue of Pramuchswami Maharaj installed on a 40 feet wide, 15 feet high pithika. Aharnish Sevamaya Pramuchswami Maharaj conducted excellent inspirational activities all around this idol. The 67-foot-tall Mahamandir, which gives darshan to the holy deities of Sanatan Dharma under a total of five giant domes, was constructed as an identical duplicate of Delhi’s Swaminarayan Akshardham. Millions of people’s faith will be increased by Lord Swaminarayan-Aksharpurushottam Maharaj, Lord Radha-Krishna, Lord Sita-Rama, Lord Uma-Mahadeva, etc. Apart from this, the mandovar and pillars of this temple have artistic idols of 104 saints and sages as well as 48 Ganapatiji.

    Mostly haribhakt are aged and unable to walk.
    What facilities for them, ?
    Like dorp to front gate how much walking towords gate of mahotsav and if someone req. Support what inside the mahotsav to see the whole mahotsav. Is there any small car or carrier facilities available?
